smallest unit of the Association at the grass root is termed as the “Zone”. It is made up of 20 members (minimum) in a given geographical location but following the political boundaries of the districts or counties. It is managed by a Zone- Executive Committee which is elected every three years to execute the planed activities that are approved by the Board. It is made –up of the Zone Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Women Desk Chairperson, and committee members. At the Zone level is a Women’s Desk set-up specifically to assist women entrepreneurs at the Zone level and also link up with the National Women’s Desk to implement National Programs for the women.
Both the Zone Chairperson and the Zone Women’s Desk representative are representatives of the USSIA Board of Governors.
